Played around with the new API that Google released in partnership with cesium.
I've always wanted someone to make a google maps street view, but with freely moving cameras/avatars. The current GUI let's you transverse at 1frame per second so it feels incredibly laggy and choppy.
The tiling from cesium loaded pretty fast but the resolution is still pretty bad. Unsure if there's a way to upgrade it without crazy hardware but out of the box pretty potato quality.
